Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday celebrated particular in the Central and south regions, by people of Mexican ancestry living in other places, especially the United States.
Observed by: Hispanic populations
Significance: Prayer and remembrance of friends and family members who have died they celebrate the event by the creation of altars to remember the dead.
